Traditional color, innovative taste
One of the main characteristics of this vermouth is the absence of caramel, which allows it to retain its natural amber color and restore the essence of the original homemade vermouths.
The main herb we use in this vermouth is artemisia, the traditional starting plant of every vermouth.
However, there is another plant that is also very common in vermouths - gentian, which contains probably the bitterest substance in the world - amarogentin - and we use it in this vermouth.
The base wine for this vermouth is the well-structured Macabeo, which is ideal for the maturation process and, thanks to the neutral character of this variety, does not interfere with the effect of the exceptionally bitter herbs used.
The vermouth is aged for 9 months in polon chestnut barrels before bottling.
Aroma: A mixture of wild and dry forest herbs with a subtle mineral touch.
In the mouth: Sweet and bitter sensations are perfectly balanced.
