Nocheluna Sotol is produced by fourth-generation master sotolero Don "Lalo" Eduardo Arrieta in collaboration with sotol teacher Ricardo Pike and Iván Saldaña of Casa Lumbre. The face of the brand is the American singer and songwriter Lenny Kravitz, who became a partner of the brand in launching the product with the support of Pernod Ricard.
Nocheluna Sotol is produced by Don Eduardo Arrieta in Aldama, Chihuahua. "Sustainably farmed" wild dasylirion is harvested after 12-15 years of growth. The plants are then boiled in an underground pit lined with river stones. The cooked sotol is crushed with a mechanical crusher and fermented naturally for 5 to 10 days. Finally, it is distilled twice in copper stills over direct fire. Nocheluna Sotol has notes of wild herbs, dried stone fruit, caramel and honey, deep minerality and oak.
