BOUNTY Premium Gold, the most popular rum from the island of St. Lucia, is renowned for its wonderful aromas of light buttery caramel and aromas of candied fruit. The inhabitants of the island of St. Lucia prefer to enjoy this richly flavored butter rum with Coke, but it can also be used to make an excellent Daiquiri or Old Fashioned.
TASTING NOTES:
The initial taste on the palate is soft at first, with rich raisin fruit notes and a hint of honey and vanilla from ageing. Medium-bodied with a fruity taste of ripe sultanas, a hint of vanilla from the oak wood and a hint of spice.
Balanced and clean taste with a pleasant longer finish.
RUM MIXTURE (BLEND) 100% columnar rum, aged for 2 years in bourbon barrels.
THE STORY OF RUM BOUNTY
BOUNTY rum is produced at the St. Lucia Distillers, located in the picturesque and agriculturally fertile Roseau Valley on the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia. The BOUNTY brand, “The Spirit of Saint Lucia” was established in 1972 as the main rum brand of this distillery, which was created as a joint venture from the merger of the last two distilleries on the island: Dennery Distillery and Roseau Bay Distillery. BOUNTY rum captures and expresses the extremely dynamic and festive nature of the island of Saint Lucia, springing from its traditional and cultural roots. Our rums are a mixture of columnar rums made from molasses, which comes mainly from the Dominican Republic. They are characterized by a clean and delicate taste and a wonderful character that is best enjoyed in your favorite cocktails.
