BOCATHEVA 10YO
This Venezuelan rum is a molasses rum, aged for 10 years exclusively in Venezuela, in American bourbon oak barrels. For its production, sugarcane of the Romana and Cubana varieties is used, which is harvested only once a year between December and May, continuously day and night. Sugar cane harvested in the morning is more concentrated. 2.24 kg of molasses is needed to produce one liter of this delicious drink.
Fermentation takes 12 to 16 hours and distillation takes place in four distillation columns. After that, the rum with around 65% alcohol by volume is poured into barrels and left to mature in Venezuela, whose tropical climate gives it a wonderful roundness.
