Still-distilled and made from cane molasses, this rum was aged for at least 3 years in sherry and bourbon casks before being macerated for nearly a month with spices to give it aromatic strength.
Botafogo invites you to discover Jamaica, a true natural treasure. This country, famous for its sugar cane, offers for its production all the raw materials necessary to prepare a cuvée with a very rich aroma. Jamaican rums with their distinct character are a must-recommendation. Full and rounded with its vanilla aromas, Botafogo rum exhibits a wonderful temperament enhanced by notes of citrus and spice. An aromatic explosion, both in the nose and in the mouth. Botafogo is very approachable and can be enjoyed with ice or in a mixed drink. A very good introduction to the world of rum.
