It is macerated in a base of criollo corn alcohol from the Chiapas highlands for four months in the dark and is finally sweetened with agave honey.

Each honey-sweetened liqueur contains a dozen hand-crafted, consciously sourced botanicals, corn alcohol, and four months of dark maceration.

This delight is the product of Taller Astrafilia, a cooperative project born in 2015, driven by a love for Mexican biodiversity and a desire to produce high-quality artisanal beverages.
The raw materials used to macerate and distill their beverages are native and endemic Mexican plants, collected in season by small producers, within fair trade systems and mainly from agroecological crops.
The name Astrafilia comes from a fascination with contemplating the sky and the stars. We are lovers of the summer storms and downpours that nourish the Mexican soil and the plants we use in our drinks, constantly toasting the botanical diversity and gastronomic richness of this country.
