Yuzushu literally means "yuzu alcohol" in Japanese.
This Yuzushu liqueur with sea salt is made by Kitajima Brewery using a sake base to which fresh yuzu juice and sea salt are added.
The distillery was founded in 1805 in the village of Hari in Shiga Prefecture and has been producing top-quality sake for over 200 years.
The combination of sake and fresh Japanese yuzu juice creates a remarkable drink with sweet and sour notes.
The sea salt flavor softens the acidity and enhances the taste of yuzu.
Enjoy it neat on ice, with tonic water or Japanese style with hot water.
