NIXTA CORN LIQUOR

A tender variety of corn that is harvested from the ears at the beginning of the season and is carefully selected.

The corn is then blended with our original corn distillate and a purified sweet mash made from fully mature white cacahuzintle (hominy) corn.

The result is a unique elote liqueur with aromas of roasted corn, a sweet and creamy atole consistency and a finish with roasted nuts and dried fruits.

Serve neat, with ice or as a bold cocktail modifier.

Nixta Licor de Elote is a Mexican corn liqueur made from a base of fine cacahuazintle corn (cacauazintle), which is grown in the high valleys and at the foot of the Nevado de Toluca volcano. Nixta is produced at the Destilería y Bodega Abasolo distillery, where we honor the Mexican culture of corn and the ancestral craft of nixtamalization, a 4,000-year-old Mesoamerican brewing technique that reveals the deepest flavors and aromas of corn.
