Las Californias Citrus Gin 0.7L 40%

From the head of the Casa Lumbre innovation team, led by master distiller Iván Saldaño, came two gins inspired by the region.

Las Californias sources botanicals for its gins from two countries, bringing together the diverse landscapes of the region along the Pacific coast that connects Mexico and the United States.

"Our goal with Las Californias is to show that our lives are richer when we transcend artificial boundaries. This is reflected in our overall ethos, but also in the botanicals we choose that represent our country, and in how we reimagine centuries-old traditions in the gin category," said Master Distiller Iván Saldaña. "We were inspired by the greater possibilities we discovered during our creative process: open-mindedness, bridging cultures, paying homage to a history that transcends today's man-made boundaries.

"We hope we have captured at least some of these inspirations in Las Californias." Las Californias gins, Nativo and Cítrico, are made from both native plants and plants brought to the region by cultural migration, according to the brand. The base for both spirits is California juniper (Juniperus californica), a type of juniper that only grows in a small area between Hollywood and the Ojos Negro Valley. The special juniper was chosen by the Las Californias team for its smooth, sweet, and piney profile.

Las Californias Citrico

A sun-kissed gin made with citrus and aromatics from both sides of the border. Bright and citrusy with a hint of forest flavor and a slightly golden, juicy finish.

Notes of California juniper, citrus leaves and peel, almonds, vine leaves, lemongrass, apricots and figs.
