A completely independent family-run distillery, Southwestern Distillery, which hand-produces spirits on the wild Cornish coast, owns 3 250-litre copper stills called Tamara, Senara and Tressa and 1 500-litre still called Ferarra.

The process for making Tarquins Rhubarb and Raspberry Gin begins with the signature distillation of English gin with classic botanicals such as juniper, coriander and citrus. 11 botanicals from around the world are added to the stills, macerated overnight in neutral grain spirit, and finally violets, rhubarb and raspberries are added in the morning.

This process creates a fresh, piney gin with notes of lemon sherbet, a touch of oriental spice and a lingering floral complexity, and the addition of the most delicious raspberries and rhubarb gives this gin a beautiful vermilion and fruity complexity.

The result is a beautifully pink, fruity gin.
