Most of the award-winning gins from the Whitley Neill family workshop were inspired by the intrepid foreign expeditions of previous generations. Whitley Neill Rhubarb and Ginger Gin is a return closer to home. When the Whitley family settled in the English countryside near Daresbury after the war, they established a garden full of heady flavors that served not only in the kitchen, but also when experimenting with the family's gin production. This Rhubarb-Ginger Gin was inspired by current owner Johny Neill's childhood memories on his grandparents' farm, of the favorite rhubarb from the garden with a refreshingly warming pinch of fresh ginger. In addition to juniper, rhubarb and ginger, this gin also contains a harmonious blend of botanicals such as coriander, cinnamon bark, orris root, angelica root, licorice, sweet orange and lemon. Whitley Neill Rhubarb & Ginger Gin tastes great with ice, in cocktails, but also in long drinks with tonic or ginger beer.
