We called this cider Imperial in honor of our great-grandfather JB Chevallier, who succeeded with it in 1921 at the (Colonial) Fruit Exhibition of the Empire. Every year we do a special archive year. This is our 286th (two hundred and eighty six).

Taste description: A rich caramel, tangy flavor enhanced by bittersweet apples from a single year's harvest. Notes of raisins, dates and prunes. Sweet mixed reverberation.

Serving suggestions: Excellent with lamb with dumplings, pheasant and strong cheeses such as Brie de Meaux, Stinking Bishop and Blue Stilton.

Alcohol: 8.2%

Suitable for celiacs, vegetarians and vegans. Contains sulfites.
